Looking back, she is amazed how she has survived so much. She found that the things she most feared ended up being things that she was able to see the most graceful and solemn beauty in. There is, of course, beauty in rainbows and sunsets, but the beauty that will resonate in her memory forever is the quiet moments of darkness. The moments that she has to admit she has no control, when she has to take fate's hand as it reaches out to her and she is led through the ominous darkness. There is a freedom in trusting. She exhales and realizes that the darkness is beautiful and holds promise and peace.
