Up there she sits all alone. Not because she chose to do so but because she was put there buy circumstance. What is it she would rather be doing? Perhaps walking barefoot in the cool wet grass, searching for minnows while ankle deep in a cold mountain stream or maybe writing her thoughts on paper under a canopy of swaying leaves. These are the things she dreams about. But for now, she will keep her station high atop her pedestal. Sitting up straight in her ornately adorned gown, prim and proper for all to gaze upon.
